Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents for the town where she grew as a child. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family. Ryder believes she is Jewish. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They lived in a place without electricity. Ryder was an avid reader and spent her time studying books since there was no TV. Ryder took acting classes when Ryder was 12years old in the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed an acting job as a lead actress. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress could help. Sadly that didn't happen. But she continued to chase her dreams. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that gave her her first big break. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. In 1993 she received two nominations to win Academy Awards. One of them for her role in The Age of Innocence.
