April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball star American She is one of a small category of females who have won medals in multiple Olympics. Alix-Klineman will compete with April Ross in Tokyo in order to claim her third gold medal over the next couple of days. Ross wants to achieve more than her initial Olympic medal. At 39, it could be her last chance to achieve it. She remains optimistic that she will be able to win top awards. Ross on NBC Boston, said that If the team is performing very well, or even at all, it could be able to win gold. "I'm planning to test a little luck." Ross born in 1982 and lived in Costa Mesa California with her mother and sister, first began participating in athletics at Newport Harbor High School. She went on to compete in a myriad of sports during her time at Newport Harbor High School. While a prep student, she competed in basketball, indoor volleyball and running track. In her final game she stood out. When she played in her college volleyball season in her university bio, she was an outside-hitter, middle blocker and setter. Gatorade Circle of Champions named her as the National Player of 1999. She also captured the award in 2000. Orange County Athlete of the Year trophy for volleyball. Ross Klineman and Ross may have started working together in 2017, but Ross was an experienced player at the beach before they came together. The American has been a major winner in competitions with different players. A couple of those has become an icon of the volleyball world. Jennifer Kessy coached her from 2007 until the year 2013. Kessy was Ross's teammate at the 2009 World Championships. The duo eventually captured a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty May Treanor and Kerri Jennings the legendary team which took home the Olympic gold medal in 2012 in London, edged them out to win the gold medal. Ross Jennings was May-Treanor's replacement as she left the team. The pair were awarded bronze medals at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross played for the Trojans of USC throughout her college the years prior to her professional career. The Trojans had a great career for Ross in the college level. In her first year at the school, 2000 saw her earn the Pac-10 as well as NCAA Freshman's of the Award and also be named an All-American. She also helped the Trojans to make it to into the Final Four. Her heart was broken by a tragic incident in her sophomore years, yet she managed to become an All-American again. In her last two years of participation in the Trojans team, she led the Trojans to winning a national title every time. She was a fantastic volleyball player and won the Honda Sports Award in 2003-04 as the top female volleyball player at the college level. Ross played international relations as a student at USC. Margie Ross did not get to witness her daughter's climb to beach volleyball fame. Ross's mother Margie died in 2001. Ross was an USC sophomore. The cancer was diagnosed as breast. She is devoted to her mother who died. Margie has been an inspiration throughout her life, as well as on the beach.
