Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's mother, made her acting debut as Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11.
