Amy Smart is a former American actress and model. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film role. After that, she was a star in a minor role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. In the beginning, it was difficult for her to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models aren't good actors. They are typically only given small, insignificant roles. Yet, somehow Amy did not give up and stepped into more prestigious roles. It all started with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy was then promoted to lead roles in the romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized by the industry for her performance over the past decade.
